The apparitions in Fatima, Portugal, are obviously linked to the Biblical story of Queen Esther and her intercession before the King of Persia on behalf of the Jewish people.
‘Purim’ is the day which celebrates the victory of the Jews when a Persian plot to kill them completely unraveled.
Today marks the date on the Hebrew calendar of this remembrance, however –
I’m posting this because of an apparent ‘sign in the heavens’ that will take place tonight. The moon will be positioned over Virgo (the virgin) next to the king planet, Jupiter, as it rises over the eastern horizon –
Of course, Biblically, we can recall the main players – Israel, Persia (modern day Iran) and the man called Haman, who instigated the plot against the Jews.
On the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the Fatima apparitions, it is also important to reiterate the link between Queen Esther and our modern day intercessor – the Blessed Mother, under the title of Our Lady of Fatima.
The only modern-day player who remains unnamed would be Haman, the man who plotted the destruction of the Jews.
